My love for opals started when my father bought two small opals to set in rings. As a child, I was amazed by the colours and patterns, studying the stones for hours. I was locked into a lifelong infatuation with opal and decided to share this love with the world by launching Dragon Eye Opals.
At the beginning of 2020, a the world entered the first global pandemic in a hundred years, I decided to further pursue my long standing love for opals. I have been casually cutting stones since 2011, enjoying it as a hobby and slowly building a nice personal collection of stones.
