At the beginning of 2020 as the world started going in to the first global pandemic in a hundred years, I decided to further pursue my long standing love for Opals. 

I have been casually cutting Opals since 2011, enjoying it as a hobby and slowly building a nice personal collection of stones. My love for Opals started when my father, a hobbyist Jeweller, bought two small Black Opals to set in rings. As a child, I was amazed by the colours and patterns and studied the stones for hours. I was locked in to a lifelong infatuation with Opal and decided to share this love with the world by launching Dragon Eye Opals.
